New Cardholder Terms

There is a new law called the Payment Services Regulations being implemented on November 1st 2009 which covers the making and receiving payments on certain banking products. These new rules are European wide and mean that every bank in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway (the EEA for short) must meet the same standards when making and receiving payments in currencies from those countries. The Regulations cover most payments but not cheques, some other paper-based payments and payments from countries and in currencies outside the EEA.

As a result of this new law, we have had to make certain changes to the cardholder terms and conditions associated with the use of your card. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with these by clicking on this link.
