DEAR BREAD CUSTOMERS,
We are aware that some customers have been experiencing problems in recent weeks when they have tried to top up their cards at a number of PayPoint terminals.
Firstly we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and to thank those of you who called and e-mailed bringing this to our attention. We would further like to reassure you that this has been dealt with at the highest levels over the last few weeks to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
An investigation by PayPoint has found that a number of their terminals (but not all) had an incorrect software update which led to them not being able to recognise our customer's cards. This sporadic problem has now been fully identified and all terminals should receive an update in the next 48 hours to fix the underlying problem. After this has been completed, you should be able to enjoy the same service as before with immediate card top-ups at PayPoint locations.
